Let members pick their own roles
One message, a few emoji, and your server sorts itself out — instead of a moderator handing out colours one request at a time.
Free forever on the free plan. No card, no trial clock.
React to get the role
A member clicks an emoji on your message and the role is applied. Turn on remove-on-unreact and taking the reaction back removes it again.
The bot adds the reactions
You pick the emoji; the bot puts them on the message so nobody has to go looking. Custom server emoji work the same as standard ones.
Use any message
One you posted, one the bot posted, or a fresh embed built in the editor. Point the setup at it and it attaches.
Built visually
Pick an emoji, pick a role, save. No code, no config file, nothing to host.
Buttons as well
Prefer a tidy row of buttons to a wall of reactions? Build them in the component editor and hand the role out from a command.
Free to use
Works on the free plan. Paid plans raise how many emoji one setup can carry.
Questions
- Do members need a command to get a role?
- No. They react to a message or press a button and the role is theirs. Taking the reaction away can remove it again — that is a per-emoji setting.
- Can one message hand out several roles?
- Yes. Add as many emoji-to-role pairs as your plan allows, and the bot puts each reaction on the message for you so members can just click.
- Does it work on a message I already posted?
- Yes. Point the setup at any message the bot can see and it attaches the reactions to that one.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Reaction roles work on the free plan; paid plans raise how many emoji a single setup can carry.
- Can I use buttons instead of reactions?
- Yes. Build a row of buttons in the component editor and grant the role from a command — the same self-serve idea with a tidier message.
