Terms of Service
effective September 10, 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
Custom Commands is operated by WEiRDSOFT LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms govern your use of the ccbot.app website and dashboard (the “Site”) and the Custom Commands Discord bot (the “Bot”, together the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum digital-consent age in your country, in line with Discord's own Terms of Service. You must also comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using the Service; a breach of those is also a breach of these Terms.
3. Your account
You sign in with Discord. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for keeping access to your Discord account secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.
4. Servers and who is responsible
Adding the Bot to a Discord server makes that server's administrators responsible for how it is configured and used there, including the commands, scripts, automations and messages it runs and the data it stores. Where you act for a server, you confirm you are permitted to do so and that you accept these Terms on that server's behalf.
Permissions inside the dashboard are set by the server, not by us. Granting someone access to manage a server means granting them access to that server's content and data.
5. Your content
Commands, embeds, events, scripts, variables, database contents, configurations, templates and files you create or upload remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, transmit and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service for you — nothing more.
You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload, and for the content itself. You can edit or delete it from the dashboard at any time.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- send spam, run scams or phishing, distribute malware, or harass, threaten or abuse anyone;
- circumvent the script sandbox, rate limits, plan limits or permission checks, or attempt to reach data belonging to another server or user;
- probe, scan, overload or disrupt the Service or the systems it runs on, or use it to attack anyone else;
- resell, sublicense or rent access to the Service to third parties;
- misrepresent a bot you operate as being endorsed or run by us.
Scripts run in a restricted, sandboxed environment. That sandbox is a safeguard, not a permission slip: what a script does is still your responsibility.
7. Custom bots and your own token
Where you run the Service on your own Discord application, you remain the owner and operator of that application. You are responsible for keeping its token secure, for its verification and compliance status with Discord, and for anything it does. You give us permission to use the token you supply solely to operate that bot on your behalf, and you can revoke that at any time by removing it.
8. Plans, billing and cancellation
There is a free plan. Paid plans add higher limits and further features, and are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. We do not see or store your card details.
You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments already made are non-refundable, and we do not give partial refunds for unused time or for a downgrade mid-period.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Where the law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, that right applies regardless of the paragraph above. Note that if you ask us to start providing paid features immediately, a statutory cooling-off right may end once we have done so.
We may change prices or what a plan includes. Changes to a plan you are already paying for take effect at your next renewal, and we will tell you before that renewal so you can cancel if you would rather not continue. If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until it is settled.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Discord outages, rate limits and API changes are outside our control. We may add, change, suspend or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give reasonable notice.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your plan and removing the Bot from your servers. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, if the Service is being used in a way that harms others or our infrastructure, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
What happens to your data after the Bot is removed or an account is closed is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including Discord for the platform itself, Stripe for payments, and providers used for hosting, file storage and analytics. Their terms govern their own services, and we are not responsible for what they do or for outages on their side.
12. Disclaimers
Except where the law says otherwise, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that automations will always run at the moment you expect, or that stored data can never be lost. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or loss or corruption of data. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £50.
If you use the Service in the course of a business, you agree to indemnify us against claims brought by third parties arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page, and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law, and may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
