Social alerts

Post in your server when a YouTube video, a Twitch or Kick stream, a Bluesky post, a podcast episode or a blog post goes live.

Social alerts follow creators and feeds for you. When something new appears, the bot posts it in the channel you pick.

No code is needed. Open Social Alerts on the dashboard.

Premium

Social alerts are part of Premium. Starter gets 3 alerts, Basic 5 and Advanced 10. Without a plan the page shows Upgrade to unlock.

What you can follow#

PlatformFollowPosts when

Add an alert#

  1. Open Social Alerts. Under Pick where to follow, click a platform.
  2. Under Follow, type the name or link. Pick the right match from the list.
  3. Under Post to, pick the Channel.
  4. Pick who to Ping: Nobody, @everyone, or a role.
  5. Change the Message if you like. See below.
  6. Click Send test to see a sample post in your channel.
  7. Click Add alert.

The alert now shows under Your alerts.

Change the message#

Each alert has three parts. The preview next to the settings shows the result as you type.

Message is the text above the card. Click a name under Insert to add a placeholder. The bot fills it in for each post:

PlaceholderBecomes
{name}The channel, streamer, account, show or feed name
{title}The video, stream, post or episode title
{url}The link
{type}YouTube only: video, Short or live
{game}Twitch and Kick only: the stream category
{mention}The ping you picked

For example, the default YouTube text is:

text
{mention} **{name}** posted a new {type}!

Card is the embed under the text. Set its Title, Description, Colour, Picture and Footer. Turn on Show who posted and Show the time if you want them.

Button adds a link button under the message, like Watch or Read. Change its text, or turn it off.

Only some posts#

Open Only some posts to filter by words in the title:

  • Only when the title has one of: for example update, patch, devlog.
  • Skip when the title has any of: for example sponsored, ad.

YouTube alerts can also Skip Shorts.

Pause or remove an alert#

Each alert under Your alerts has a switch. Turn it off to pause the alert, and back on to resume it.

To delete an alert, use its remove button. The bot stops posting for it. Posts already sent stay in the channel.

Tip

The bot needs View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links in the channel you post to. To ping a role, the role must be mentionable, or the bot needs Mention @everyone, @here, and All Roles.
